Principal at Guttmann & Blaevoet since 1996, Jeff has 40 years of experience in the design of mechanical systems for commercial, healthcare, higher education, and civic/community buildings.

Jeff is at the forefront of the building decarbonization movement.  With deep knowledge of all-electric buildings, he has developed two pending patents for solutions to achieve carbon-free central utility plants. He also brings specialized expertise in innovative applications for energy and water conservation, and has pioneered the use of underfloor technology in the United States.

Jeff has received numerous awards for his work, including six National ASHRAE Technology Awards, the highest honor in the building services industry as well as a U.S. Patent in 2024.
